over the river...

Cloudy. 20 turkeys feasting in a corn field in Proctor. Deer hunting season has begun. Trucks parked along the roads. Christmas wreaths and road salt for sale in the markets. Getting the wood rack out of the attic along with some suitcases as we go over the river, and through the woods (sort of) to grandmother's house for Thanksgiving.

  1. I wish I were going over a river/ocean to join in on Thanksgiving festivities. Biz wants to have a blog-off. I liked your post about the coming season. I am trying to hold myself off of buying an Xmas tree. I can't wait!

  2. As I'm sure you know, I thought of you when I bought the egg nog the other day. I'm thinking pesto and sun dried tomatoes in the smashed potatoes this year.

  3. Don't even get me started on egg nog. I might have to have you bring some to Ecuador, and no, I'm not kidding.
