appaloosa

Actual green grass appearing over by production. Spring issue of Vermont Life magazine arrives in the stores. Daffodils from the American Cancer Society brighten offices at work. Snow darkens as it turns to slush, and fades away. Patches of snow & bare ground sometimes resemble the coat of an appaloosa.

There is not a sprig of grass that shoots uninteresting to me.

  1. Ellen's first tomato sprout broke through the soil this morning. She is pretty excited about it. A few wildfires lately in the hills seen from the latest roof that I have been working on. Took in an Avalanche game last night, which they lost 4-3, with Gay and Ron and Ellen. Regular season almost over, which means the playoffs are about to begin.
