turn, turn, turn

Went to my first hockey game of the season on Friday, Norwich 5 Castleton 2. Temps in the 30's on Sunday. I can actually see parts of the roof as snow has melted off in some places on the front. Snow melt is refreezing on the walkway, out comes the salt & sand. People washing the salt off their cars at the car wash in West Rutland. Pitchers and catchers report today for the Giants in Arizona.

  1. Happy Valentines Day. In and out of the 60's this week. Yetserday, Ellen and I were having lunch outside and walking around in short sleeves.

  2. Must be a little different from your Februarys in AK John. I am enjoying the longer days. Christmas decorations came down around Whitefish yesterday. One day closer to spring. I enjoy that day almost as much as the day that they put the decorations up.

  3. Yup, a little different from AK. Today I put on sunscreen at work, no kidding. The only two times I put on sunscreen in Alaska was when I was on a glacier and when I was paddling in the arctic. Two times in 5 years.
